CASE STUDY

A Peanut oil refinery based in Rajkot: Gujrat is operating with capacity of 50 Ton per Day.
Plant Manager was not happy with the results as spent earth was containing 28 to 32% oil, an extensive steaming was also not able to recover more than 2%
Plant owner has decided to replace the existing bleaching and filtration section.
Filtrex Industries has studied their existing system and recommended few basic changes. We recommended basic changes to the VPLF design. Their Existing PLF design was substandard and improper manufacturing practice was not followed.
We have changed the design and orientation of filtration plates. With the new orientation results were satisfactory.

RESULTS:

Spent Earth Oil recovery has improved by 8 to 10%.
